Great answer. I think my biggest issue in being a fan for Spurs Kawhi was projecting who I wanted him to be, i.e. the next evolution of the quiet, fundamentally sound Tim Duncan. The perfect Spur created in a lab to destroy the Durant-Warriors, just like the Timmy Spurs destroyed the Kobe-Shaq Lakers and Lebron Heat. Unfair to put that on Kawhi, who probably is just an LA kid that loves to hoop. I just wish he would have played out his contract in SA then gracefully said he wanted to try winning in his hometown. I think his exit would have been smoother that way.
