No starting lineup update from Popovich pre-game. Lonnie Walker is available after returning to practice recently (back spasms).

Welcome, everyone! This thread will be going throughout the rest of the afternoon and into the postgame, a format that will be used throughout the 2020-21 season. You have the freedom to talk about whatever you'd like -- all I ask is that you be respectful of one another. Hope you enjoy!

So what I did not expect was so many Big lineups with the number of guards/wings that we have. I know injuries played into that but the rotations seemed odd even for preseason.

Unfortunately I don't have much to contribute, as I did not know YouTube TV dropped FSSW until the game started. Hah, so a pretty useless game thread on my end. Next time.

I have Walker as the leading scorer tonite as long as he isn't on a minutes restriction because of the back. I feel like it will be an early night for the vets and with no White, he seems primed to get some buckets.

Preseason games are often unpredictable when it comes to minutes allocation, and it will be interesting to see how much run he gets having just come back from the back spasms. But as of yesterday when we spoke with him, he seems good to go. I'm guessing he won't be the leader in minutes played, though, so I'm gonna counter with Dejounte Murray as the leading scorer. (Watch it be DeRozan or Aldridge after we say all this...)

Yeah. My second guess should probably be Zeller. I think with the shortened preseason, my guess is we will see a bit more routine than usual but it really is a crapshoot.

Yep, not a lot of time to get all those ducks in a row... but crapshoot is a good way to describe it at this point.
