Greetings, friends. The shorthanded Spurs are now 5-6 and looked impressive against a tired yet favored Sacramento Kings team on Monday. A promising sign for a young team is kicking the ass of the opposition when it gets to town in the wee hours of the morning on the second night of a back-to-back, and that’s exactly what San Antonio did.
So I’d love to hear you all sound off and send in your questions for the season’s first mailbag. Typically I’ll send out this prompt at the end of each month and will post the mailbag a few days later, but with the season starting at the tail end of October I figured I’d give the season a little room to breathe before diving into the first installment.

Do you think Mitch Johnson is being groomed to takeover for Pop when he's ready to retire (hopefully not this year b/c of current health issues) or do you think they will look to hire someone out-of-house with more gravitas/experience? I'm curious b/c of the Wemby factor.
