Happy holidays from Corporate Knowledge!
Thank you all so much for the support over the years, and I hope you continue to enjoy this newsletter as it grows.
Greetings, all! I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season despite a tough Spurs loss in New York.
I’ll make this brief because I know most of you are with family and friends and relaxing, and full disclosure, I was on a flight (which of course had no wifi) during the game and only managed to catch parts of it. So here I sit at my sister’s kitchen table in Denver, while my nephew plays video games on the couch and others take a nap, catching up on the things I missed. But in the mean time I wanted to reach out to express my gratitude to everyone who’s gone on this newsletter journey with me over the last few years. And it has been a journey.
Now that competitive basketball has returned to San Antonio for the first time since Corporate Knowledge’s inception, I realize there are now larger expectations both on the court and for this publication. So far the Spurs are largely meeting them, and now it’s time for me to take a leap. The goal here has always been to eventually become a full-time operation, and while producing content as if it already is one has not been realistic yet, I’m confident we’ll close in on reaching that point during the coming year so long as y’all continue to stick with me. I promise it’ll be worth your time! I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished thus far, and I know it’s only going to get better.
I also wanted to say how much I’ve enjoyed getting to know so many of you, particularly through the game chats. Not to mention, actually meeting you in person at games. We’ve built a great community here, and even through the growth I feel it’s maintained its tightknit personality. We seem to attract the right kinds of folks around here, so let’s keep bringing ‘em into the circus tent!
For any free subscribers who would like to gain the benefit of a paid membership, I’ll be running a discount on annual subs through the holidays and into the new year before we really start to lock in on the future of CK. But if you’d like to remain free, nothing is changing or being taken away from what you’ve already enjoyed, and I genuinely appreciate the support in every form.
To my paid subscribers: Keep reading below the fold, because I have a pitch to send your way!
And now back to everybody.
I’m not totally sure what my content schedule is looking like over the coming week, as I’ll be traveling with family and have a few other holiday obligations. But rest assured I have thoughts, and once January hits, it’s pedal to the metal.
Thank you all again, and happy holidays from CK!
